Designlike have over the past 7 years been designing websites for a variety of clients throughout the Highlands of Scotland and beyond, and we hope to show a selection of our more recent solo projects here soon (much of the past work has been carried out on behalf of other local Internet firms on a freelance basis*). We specialise in building clear, concise brochure type sites that display well across a broad range of browsers, load quickly and are accessible, validated, easy to use and optimised for search engines.
The site for highly rated local band The Lush Rollers went live last year, based around stunning photography from Pete Nairne and an original concept by tsk. This included the development of a comprehensive new branding/identity which we have since implemented on their Press Kit and Myspace (see right) and hope to continue developing with them during the design of their upcoming album.
An example of a much less complex website for a guest house in Lothian was built for Crauchie Farmhouse. A comprehensive site with easy content management was recently completed for Inverness Tennis and Squash Club. Other features on this large project include changeable backgrounds, dynamic PHP tab based navigation, a counter and ongoing search engine optimisation.

Multimedia
Recently we have designed Multimedia Press Kits for local bands and artistes (including renowned Gaelic singer Ishbel Macaskill) to be produced on CD-ROM. These were designed in tandem with a matching printed cover - see the print section for more information. They were designed for the artist to send to venue managers, agents, promoters, festival directors etc an electronic snapshot of the artist, including photographs, songs and past reviews. We can also provide a copy writing service if you require text for either your web or multimedia project.
